The core composition and classification of PUMO CNC lathe spindle are as follows:
·Bearing configuration (determining rigidity and purpose): The mainstream adopts a combination of front and rear supports. Common configurations include high rigidity type (front double row cylindrical roller+angular contact ball bearing, rear supporting role contact bearing, suitable for heavy cutting) and high-speed precision type (front high-precision angular contact ball bearing, suitable for light load high-speed precision machining). Tapered roller bearings are used in a few heavy load and low-speed occasions. The spindle runout can usually be controlled within 2 μ m, and the high rigidity spindle speed can reach 4000r/min or even higher.
·Transmission mode (determining performance characteristics): There are mainly three types. Gear transmission reduces speed and increases torque through gears, suitable for low-speed heavy cutting; Belt/synchronous belt transmission without gear vibration, suitable for high-speed and low torque situations; Electric spindle combines the motor and spindle into one, with extremely high speed (up to tens of thousands of revolutions), making it the ultimate form of high-speed machining.
·Key attachments (achieving automation and thread processing):
·Hydraulic/pneumatic chuck: installed at the front end of the spindle to achieve automatic clamping and releasing of the workpiece, which can greatly reduce the clamping assistance time.
·Spindle encoder: It rotates synchronously with the spindle and feeds back the spindle angle and speed to the system. When turning threads, it is responsible for ensuring strict synchronization between spindle rotation and tool movement, and is an indispensable component in thread machining.
